Established in 1903, Florence Crittenton Services is a nonprofit residential care organization that offers health, educational and social services throughout North Carolina. It provides various services to pregnant girls and women, adolescent mothers and nonpregnant adolescents. The organization offers health and prenatal care, educational, family planning, and group and individual counseling services. It provides counseling on the intervention and prevention of trauma, anger management, violence and aggressive behavior. It conducts various mentoring, adoption and life skill programs and parenting skill and early childhood development education classes. In addition, the organization offers a maternity program for the victims of incest, sexual and physical abuse, neglect and family violence.
