Highland Renaissance Academy

Sugar Creek Charter School offers various educational and extracurricular programs to children from grades K-8. Its curriculum includes English, Spanish, science, mathematics, computers, performing and visual arts and music. It also provides character building and life skills education and has an active parent teacher organization. The school offers counseling services and various sports activities, including softball, football, cheerleading, girls and boys basketball, soccer, tennis and volleyball. Sugar Creek has various activity clubs for drama, science, computers, gospel choir, boy scouts and yearbook. The school is based in Charlotte, N.C.
