Joseph West, NP, aims to treat each of his patients as he would treat his own children, and to make realistic treatment plans in cooperation with patients and families. He recommends only treatment he would use for his own children, and considers his relationship with patients to be a true partnership. Jobe, as he is known, says his goal is for his patients to find him knowledgeable, practical and approachable and he encourages families to ask questions. When he's not working, Jobe enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, hiking, fishing, camping, playing sports, going to UNC games and hanging out with the family dachshund.
