Raleigh MRI Center is a diagnostic and imaging center that is located in Raleigh, N.C. It has a staff of laboratory technicians that specialize in magnetic resonance imaging and other diagnostic procedures. Raleigh MRI Center is a part of Wake Radiology Diagnostic Imaging, which is one of the largest multisite radiology groups in central North Carolina. Established in 1953, Wake Radiology Diagnostic Imaging performs more than 600,000 procedures every year. It offers general diagnostic, body imaging, neuroradiology, ultrasound, CT scan, mammography, and orthopedic, thoracic, cardiac, interventional and pediatric radiology services. The group employs over 50 radiology physicians who are certified by the American Board of Radiology. Wake Radiology Diagnostic Imaging also performs bone densitometry, coronary calcium scoring, computed tomography, radiation oncology, kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, uterine fibroid embolization and varicose vein ablation procedures.
