Fair Grove Fire Department-Station 43
Established in 1957, the Fair Grove Fire Department works to protect lives and property from natural and manmade disasters. It operates a fire prevention bureau that conducts education programs in public and private school systems, daycare organizations, scout troops and churches. The department also operates administration and training divisions. The Fair Grove Fire Department houses a fleet of engines, pumps, special operation trucks, tanker engines and rescue vans and cars. It is comprised of more than 60 volunteers and paid personnel. The department serves an area of over 45 square miles and provides emergency medical assistance, rescue services, and fire prevention and education, as well as maintains a water recovery dive team. The Fair Grove Fire Department is located in Thomasville, N.C.
