I learned about the field of audiology through a close childhood friend. She was diagnosed with a progressive hearing loss when we were children. Seeing her experience with hearing aids and, then later with cochlear implants, inspired me to pursue pediatric audiology. I treat each patient with the same respect, time, dedication, and commitment I would invest on a close family member or friend. I intend to put the patient’s best health interests first. It is very important to build lasting relationships where there is mutual trust between patient and provider. The treatment approach I would use for a patient is very individualized based on their specific needs. When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy trail running, traveling, and spending time with my husband and our two dogs.

Speech pathology was my initial career path of interest with core courses required in audiology. That career path just ˜spoke to me. When I am not working, I play a lot with my three growing grandsons and like to read. My husband and I like to travel.
