Cherry Point Provost Marshal's Office (PMO)

The Havelock Police Department works to preserve peace, prevent crime and protect the rights, lives and property of the city residents. It maintains patrol, K-9, investigation, records and communication divisions. The department provides shelter to stray and at-large animals and responds to animal nuisance complaints. The Havelock Police Department hosts the School Resource Officer program, which conducts training sessions related to law enforcement, high-risk suspensions, and alcohol and drug prevention, as well as supports life skills programs. It also offers copies of police reports and issues warrants and concealed weapon permits. The department s support services division provides bicycle and child safety seat, highway safety and National Night Out programs. In addition, the Havelock Police Department operates a citizens police academy and citizen emergency response team. It is located in Havelock, N.C.
