Brian Reid is the President of TowneBank Triangle. Brian is responsible for leading the TowneBank team in the Triangle market. An industry veteran with over 33 years of experience, Brian focuses on serving his fellow teammates, bank members, and the greater community he works and lives in. A very active member of the community, Brian serves on a half dozen non-profit Boards in the Triangle: Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, WakeMed Foundation, YMCA of the Triangle, and North Carolina Football Club Youth. He has been recognized for his dedicated volunteerism with several awards, including Cary Citizen of The Year presented by the Cary Chamber of Commerce, The Cary Family YMCA “Decades of Service Award,” and the Wake County Board of Commissioners' annual “Award for Volunteer Service.” Reid earned his MBA in finance from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Ohio State University.

John has worked at TowneBank since 2018 and provides over 35 years of financial industry experience. As a Commercial Banking Officer and Certified Financial Planner, John focuses on income producing real estate. John earned his Bachelor's Degree from Appalachian State University. In the community, he is a member and former Board Chair of the Habitat for Humanity of Wake County. He is also a member of the White Memorial Presbyterian Church.
