The Caldwell Heritage Museum, located in Lenoir, NC, is dedicated to educating and preserving the history of Caldwell County for future generations through a variety of exhibits and educational services. Housed in a historic building that once served as Davenport College's auditorium, the museum showcases a chronological history of the county, featuring artifacts from pre-Colonial times to the present.

Among its collections, visitors can find Native American spears and arrow points, early maps, and documents related to the founding of Caldwell County and the development of Lenoir as a railroad terminus and furniture manufacturing hub. The museum also hosts special interest collections in areas such as medicine, music, military, and photography, with select loaned items displayed for limited periods each year.
