Max Bloomfield's dream of owning a business specializing in dinnerware became a reality when Bloomfield's first opened its doors on Memorial Day of 1976. Max, an experienced businessman, believed in providing his customers with quality products at a great price. Although he passed away only a year after opening, his vision was carried out by his wife Jean, and his son, Peter. Both Jean and Peter worked hard to make the store all that Max knew it could be. Through the years, Bloomfields has evolved and grown in many ways. Under Peter's direction the store has become a unique collection of many items for the home including dinnerware, glassware, kitchen gadgets and tools, lamps, gifts, and so much more. Bloomfield's is constantly searching for new and interesting merchandise to pass along to their customers.
