Yonkers Honda

History

Founded in the early 1920's by Joseph Roth as a Chevrolet dealer on South Broadway in Yonkers, Yonkers Motors has always been synonymous with trust and value. In 1970 Roth's daughter, Joy Gelb, heard that a new brand of small, fuel efficient cars called Honda was going to be made available in the US. She immediately recognized the great potential, and became one of the first Honda dealers in New York. A driving force in the automobile industry, Joy quickly became one of the fastest growing dealers in the area, creating a loyal customer base where families have returned time after time to purchase cars. Her philosophy of providing quality products with top notch service and integrity remains the same today and permeates all the facets of her business.The dealership has continued into the third generation, with Bob Feinberg, Joy's son in law, as General Manager.
