While Dr. Davidson's training has always included large academic institutions, he has always had the desire to bring that level of care back to his community. During his medical oncology/hematology fellowship at Georgetown/Washington Hospital Center and his stem cell transplantation training at the National Institute of Health, he was always involved in clinical trials. He is now bringing that expertise locally so that this level of care can be provided to our community. He incorporates the most modern approaches to cancer care including immune-based therapies and integrative medicine. He works extremely closely in a multidisciplinary approach with other physicians involved in the treatment of cancer, including radiation oncologists and surgical oncologists.

Dr. Linus Chuang is the Fred and Irmi Bering Endowed Chair in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Danbury Hospital. He is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist with more than 25 years of experience diagnosing, treating and caring for women who have gynecologic cancers. He is most passionate about achieving the best possible outcome. In addition to providing state-of-the-art care and cutting-edge surgical management of ovarian, endometrial and cervical cancers, he is well known for minimally invasive surgery —laparoscopy and robotic surgery — and prevention surgery for women at high risk for gynecologic cancers. Dr. Chuang serves as the Fred and Irmi Bering Endowed Chair in Minimally Invasive Surgery at Danbury HospitalHe incorporates heated chemotherapy delivered directly into the abdomen for women who have advanced ovarian cancer. Genomic testing is included in his practice to develop personalized treatments. In his spare time, Dr. Chuang enjoys playing tennis and traveling.

Dr. Swan believes that patients deserve excellent surgical care close to home and family. His areas of expertise include surgical management of cancer and non-cancerous diseases of the liver, bile duct/gallbladder and pancreas. Dr. Swan brings state-of-the-art surgical care to his patients. He also recognizes that surgery is only one aspect of your care, and he is proud to be part of the dedicated multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses and staff at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
