Caitlin Gribbin, MD, is an Instructor in Medicine within the Division of Hematology and Oncology at Weill Cornell Medical Center. After earning her B.A. from Cornell University, Dr. Gribbin received her Medical Degree as well as Masters in Science from Weill Cornell Medical College. She completed her Internship and Residency as well as subsequent Fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology within the Medical Research Track at Weill Cornell Medicine/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. As a faculty member at Weill Cornell, Dr. Gribbin specializes in treating patients with lymphoma using cellular therapies, including chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy. She is simultaneously focused on leading clinical and translational research studies aimed at improving lymphoma treatments by bringing novel scientific discoveries to patients. Dr. Gribbin has co-authored numerous publications and presentations at national and international meetings and has received several research grants, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Young Investigator Award, the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) Scientific Research Mentoring Program Award, and the Burroughs Wellcome Fund Award.

Dr Alpana Shukla MD, MRCP(UK) is an Assistant Professor of Research in Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Assistant Attending Physician at New-York Presbyterian Hospital. She subsequently trained in the UK as a senior house officer in Medicine, Specialist Registrar and Clinical Fellow in Endocrinology and as Registrar in Clinical Pharmacology in Australia over the next 5 years. While in the UK, she completed the training and examination requirements and was granted the MRCP(UK) degree. Dr. Shukla was an attending physician at the Bombay Hospital in Mumbai before transitioning to New York in 2010. Under the mentorship of Dr. Louis J Aronne, Sanford Weill Professor of Metabolic Research at Weill Cornell Medicine, she pursued research in behavioral, pharmacologic, and minimally invasive interventions for obesity and type 2 diabetes. Dr. Shukla is currently the Director of Clinical Research at the Comprehensive Weight Control Center and has mentored numerous graduate students, medical students, and residents in their obesity and metabolic disease research endeavors.A key area of Dr. Shuklas research is a novel behavioral intervention, termed food order, for regulation of blood glucose in individuals with overweight /obesity, type 2 diabetes, and prediabetes(Saving carbs for last may help ward off blood sugar spike for diabetics )Dr Shukla has 50 publications including articles in high-impact peer reviewed journals and book chapters. Dr Shukla is an active member of the Obesity Society (TOS), the American Diabetes Association, and serves on TOSs Clinical, CME Oversight, and Program Committees.
