Dr Veronica Flake is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician. A Philadelphia native, she earned her graduate medical degree from the Latin American School of Medicine, located in Havana, Cuba and completed residency in Family Medicine at John H Stroger, Jr Hospital of Cook County. After medical school and radiology training at New York Medical College, where he served as chief resident, Dr. Ahmad received his training in vascular and interventional radiology at Weill Cornell Medical College and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Ahmad is an active teacher of fellows, residents, and medical students and has authored numerous book chapters and research articles. In addition, he has presented nationwide and is a member in several radiology societies including the Society of Interventional Radiology and Radiologic Society of North America.
