School of the Holy Child
Established in 1904, School of the Holy Child is a Catholic, college preparatory school that provides academic instruction to more than 300 students in grades 5 through 12. It offers educational classes in language arts, history, biology, chemistry, English, math, social studies and physical education. The school organizes basketball, cross-country, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, squash, swimming, tennis and volleyball activities. It maintains a library and counseling department. School of the Holy Child also manages chess, math, student athlete, and French and Spanish clubs. It provides memberships for the National Honor Society. The school is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, National Catholic Educational Association and Fairchester Girls Athletic Association. It is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools. School of the Holy Child is located in Rye, N.Y.
