Designed for applications requiring 3 to 20 tons of force, these presses proved to be so well engineered and recognized that Taber continues to manufacture them under the original trade name 'Kenco'.The Taber Instrument Corporation was acquired by the Teledyne organization in 1966, when it became Teledyne Taber. In August 1992, Teledyne sold the assets of Teledyne Taber to Kenneth L. Slawson and the company name was changed to Taber Industries. In June 2003, Daniel K. Slawson became the Company's President.
