Dr. Tedesco is also an active member of the academic orthopedic community. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American Association for Hand Surgery, the Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society, and the American Orthopaedic Association, where she was elected as an emerging leader. During residency, Dr. Tedesco served as the Chair of the AAOS Resident Assembly, a position to which she was elected by her peers. Dr. Tedesco is passionate about the development of young leaders in the orthopedic community through mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.
