History
The Ivy Key was founded by two Harvard University graduates, Jae Gardner and Chris McConnell. Jae Gardner graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Sociology. Chris McConnell graduated Harvard University with a Bachelor's degree in English. They have over ten years of tutoring experience and have worked with a multitude of students across the Northeast. Since the company's inception, The Ivy Key has partnered with a host of public and private institutions across the metropolitan area. In 2009, NY1 recognized Jae Gardner and Chris McConnell as New Yorkers of the Week for the college preparation work they did with various public high schools in New York City.
