Dr. Sierra Seaman is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the Division of Gynecologic Specialty Surgery, specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of complex gynecologic conditions, including fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, intrauterine pathology, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, and infertility with a special interest in fertility optimization. After earning her medical degree at the University of Virginia, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as her Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Complex Gynecologic Conditions at CUIMC. She received several awards during this time including the prestigious Jay M. Cooper Foundation of the AAGL Signature Award, the AAGL award for Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery, the Excellence in Teaching Award, induction into the Gold Humanism Honors Society, and a 100K grant for the Future of Robotics. Dr. Seaman's 3-year AAGL-accredited fellowship training alongside experts in minimally invasive surgery provided her with specialized training and expertise in the fields of advanced robotics, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. She remains heavily involved in medical education with a goal to advance the future of surgical training through didactics, simulation, and coaching. Dr. Seaman is an advocate for patient-centered care and favors a minimally invasive approach to surgery. She aims to provide exceptional care to each individual patient.

Christopher B. Anderson, MD, Associate Professor of Urology at CUMC, joined the Department of Urology in September 2015. Dr. Anderson has published several peer-reviewed articles and was recognized as "Best Reviewer" in 2014 by The Journal of Urology and in 2016 by Cancer. Dr. Anderson has clinical expertise in robotic prostatectomy for the treatment of prostate cancer, radical cystectomy with orthotopic neobladder for patients with bladder cancer, and partial nephrectomy for the treatment of kidney tumors. He also specializes in the multidisciplinary management of men with testicular cancer, including the use of primary and post-chemotherapy retroperitoneal lymph node dissection. He is currently the site leader for several clinical trials investigating the use of immunotherapy in patients with invasive and non-invasive bladder cancer.
