Our company was founded by Dave Ingalls in 1990 when he left his engineering position from NYS Department of Transportation after several years of engineering experience in geotechnical engineering, highway design and consultant management. Beginning with only this experience, a small office in Rotterdam, NY and no staff, he began to service the engineering needs of local clients. The requests involved landfill design/permitting, mining plans, soils investigations and septic system design, and small residential subdivisions designs. With the motivation to service more clients, the business grew rapidly. Soon Ingalls & Associates LLP had multiple staff, including licensed professional civil and environmental engineers, environmental specialists, and CAD Technicians highly trained in the latest equipment and software. Today, the highly skilled Ingalls team continues to expertly service a diverse group of private and public sector clients. Enman Engineering, P.C was established 25 years ago in April 1982 by Blair J. Enman, P.E. with the goal of providing cost effective engineering solutions in the disciplines of civil and sanitary engineering and environmental permitting. Mr. Enman has over 35 years experience in land development surveying, engineering design, permit administration and construction development.Our engineering practice is predominantly in the field of land development, potable water supply, wastewater disposal, stormwater management, roads, parking, grading and drainage, erosion controls and general civil engineering. Our experience in site development and land planning issues enables us to manage site development issues for nearly all land use considerations.Designs are produced on a three dimensional computer-aided design and drafting ( CADD ) work station, utilizing AUTOCAD Civil Package software. CADD provides the capability to create and plan site developments with client convenient revision capabilities. The AUTOCAD system is generally compatible with most architectural, surveying and engineering systems providing opportunity to share planning documents. The three dimensional capabilities offer enhancements to simplify design considerations and permit convenient quantity determinations for site construction cost analysis.
