Rome City Hall includes various departments, including administrative services, assessor, code enforcement, purchasing, public safety, and community and economic development. It houses the office of the city clerk that issues handicap, peddler, amusement device, fireworks and business permits, as well as animal and taxi licenses. Located in Rome, N.Y., the city hall s administrative services department performs a variety of functions related to the recruitment and selection of personnel, employment policies and procedures, civil service administration and workers compensation.
