Welcome to Rincón Salvadoreño Restaurant. We were established in 1980. We are considered "El Pionero" which means pioneer because we were the first Salvadoran restaurant to open in New York! We are a family-run business in the heart of Jamaica, Queens. Our food is home-cooked and made to order. Stopped by for lunch on a slow Wednesday. The 12.99 lunch special was big enough for 2 meals. We both had the chicharron papusa (yummy), sausage, rice and beans, a piece of queso and a plantain....
