Richard L Roth, MD

Sanjum Sethi, MD, MPH, is an interventional cardiologist specializing in advanced coronary and endovascular interventions. He serves as the Director of the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He performs catheter-based interventions in the coronary artery, pulmonary artery, peripheral arterial, and peripheral venous vascular beds. He received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University in 2008, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha - the national medical honor society. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Sethi stayed on at Mount Sinai, simultaneously attaining his MPH degree while completing a residency in Preventive Medicine. He subsequently completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Sethi then completed a Vascular Medicine and Endovascular Intervention fellowship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Dr. Muschel was an original member and attending physician of the practice when it was established in 1987 as the Ramapo Cardiology Associates. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of preventive cardiology, with a focus on cholesterol management to keep hearts strong and to restore health after a heart attack or other cardiac event. Dr. Muschel received all of his medical education and specialty training at the renowned Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, completing fellowships in clinical cardiology in 1986 and in nuclear and non-invasive cardiology in 1987. During this time, he received the prestigious Robert Loeb Award for Excellence in Clinical Medicine from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. In addition, he co-authored several articles on myocardial imaging that appeared in publications including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, Journal of Nuclear Medicine, and Circulation (a publication of the American Heart Association). Dr. Muschel also has a bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from Yeshiva College in New York where he received the Samual & Emily Lemler Award for Excellence in Premedical Sciences. Dr. Muschel is an assistant attending physician at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and an Assistant Professor in Clinical Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Ainat Beniaminovitz, MD is a board certified cardiologist, with a special focus on women’s cardiovascular health. After earning a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Columbia University in 1986, she went on to complete her medical school training, residency, and fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she served as a chief medical resident and a chief cardiology fellow. Upon completing her fellowship, she joined the staff at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center as a full-time cardiologist, focusing primarily on heart failure and cardiac transplantation. During this time, she published extensively on heart disease issues and presented her work to the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation. She also co-authored several articles that appeared in medical compilations and publications including American Journal of Cardiology, New England Journal of Medicine, and Circulation (a publication of the American Heart Association). In 2000, Dr. Beniaminovitz joined the practice as a clinical cardiologist with a particular interest in heart failure and women’s health. As a mother of three children, she understands how important a woman’s health is, to herself as well as to her family. With her strong diagnostic skills, extensive clinical experience, and familiarity with the latest cardiac techniques, Dr. Beniaminovitz is helping to bring state-of-the-art cardiovascular care to the residents of Rockland and Orange counties. She frequently addresses community groups about the importance of preventing heart disease, and how a proper diet, exercise, and lifestyle can contribute to maintaining cardiovascular health. Dr. Beniaminovitz is an Attending Physician at both NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center and at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY. In addition, she is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Columbia University.
