Operational for over 80 years, Schenectady Jewish Community Center works in accordance with the Jewish values, culture and identity. Based in Schenectady, N.Y., the center offers memberships for families as well as individuals in the community. Its fitness center comes equipped with weights, cardiovascular equipment, aerobic/fitness class studio and a heated pool. The facility also has a gymnasium with basketball courts, men's/women's locker rooms and sauna baths. Apart from these, Schenectady Jewish Community Center carries out babysitting services, a nursery school, Jewish cultural activities as well as adult programs. Additionally, it facilitates parking, two outdoor pools, a snack bar with picnic tables and outdoor play courts.
