Dr. Rekha B. Kumar currently serves as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and Attending Endocrinologist at the Weill Cornell Medical College and specializes in adult primary care and endocriology. She is frequently quoted in the media on topics ranging from the diabetes epidemic in the United States to discussing fad diets and exercise trends. She has appeared on CBS Sunday Morning disussing the science of GLP1 medicines and on several NBC news segments on topics of metabolic health. Dr. Kumar has traveled abroad to India, China, and Tanzania in order to both learn and teach medicine to others and serves on the board of directors to the Duke Global Health Institute.Dr. Kumar is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism, and Obesity Medicine. Dr. Rolston has expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques which include vaginal, perineal, laparoscopic, and robotic approaches. Dr. Rolston is dedicated to alleviating health disparities within the urologic-gynecologic and transgender communities through education, advocacy, and community engagement. Dr. Rolston has presented her research in sexual dysfunction, painful bladder syndrome, and transgender surgery at a national level. She is also an active member of the American Urogynecologic Society and the World Professional Association for Transgender Health.
