Providence Rest, located in Bronx, N.Y., is a more than 200-bed skilled nursing facility that is spread over an area of more than seven acres. It offers a range of programs and services, such as long-term care for elderly residents, an Alzheimer's Unit to serve the needs of people with dementia, and an adult day health care program that provides daily medical and nutritional support. Additionally it offers a short-term rehabilitation program that provides speech, physical and occupational therapy. Providence Rest also provides subacute services, including wound care, tracheotomy, intravenous therapy, respite care, hospice care, palliative care and pain control.
