Restaurant Operators Cooperative (ROC) is a food purchasing group based in Albany, NY, established in 1992 to support independent restaurant operators by providing competitive supply prices. With over 220 members and $40 million in annual purchasing power, ROC negotiates national account pricing with manufacturers, brokers, and vendors, enabling its members to lower food costs and increase profit margins. In addition to food, ROC offers cost-saving programs with non-food and beverage vendors, such as credit card vendors, linen and uniform supply companies, and kitchen equipment providers. By leveraging the combined purchasing power of its diverse membership, ROC helps independent restaurant operators level the playing field with chain restaurants, without compromising their unique identities.
