Center For Disability Services, established in 1942, is one of the largest providers of community-based residential and health care services to patients with physical disabilities throughout the Northeastern New York. It offers various services that include hearing and vision screenings; clinical and family support; medical and dental care; nutrition and diet planning; and transportation. The medical services offered by the center include dentistry, neurology, pediatric consultancy, podiatry, psychiatry, and urology and pulmonary services. It provides vocational evaluation and training, and organizes workshops and prepares individuals for jobs in competitive employment.
