Newburgh Free Academy

Newburgh Free Academy is a high school that serves more than 2,500 students in grades 10 through 12. The academy offers opportunities to participate in student organizations, such as the Future Farmers of America and the Business Professionals of America. It provides athletic activities in baseball, tennis, golf and softball. Newburgh Free Academy also offers guidance counseling programs. The academy operates astronomy, environmental and fashion clubs. It provides instruction in math, English, science, physical education, art, music and social studies. In addition, the academy manages humanities and liberal arts and applied science houses. Newburgh Free Academy is a part of the Newburgh Enlarged City School District.
