Nadia Naz Amin, MD - NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley-Cold Spring

Dr. Langhans is an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery and a member of the adult reconstruction/general orthopedic surgery service at NYP-Hudson Valley Hospital. He specializes in the operative and nonoperative treatment of adult athletes of all skill levels. Dr. Langhans received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and PhD in molecular genetics and developmental biology and medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. After finishing his orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery in 2022, he went on to complete a sports medicine fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Langhans is active in academic research, having coauthored several articles in such publications as the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, Current Issues in Molecular Biology, and the Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery.

Dr. Higgins serves as the Vice President and Regional Executive Medical Director of the New York Presbyterian Medical Group in Hudson Valley and Westchester. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President of Medical Affairs at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital since 2011. Over the years, Dr. Higgins has been active on many committees including Peer Review, Credentialing, Bylaws, Ethics and others.Apart from his administrative duties, Dr. Higgins has maintained a thriving medical practice with his wife, Ellen, a Nurse Practitioner in the NYPMG, for 26 years. He was a clinical preceptor at New York Medical College in Valhalla. Dr. Higgins is well respected in Hudson Valleys senior community and was appointed by the Governor of the State of New York to sit on New York State Coordinating Council for Services Related to Alzheimers Disease and Other Dementias. He is a past director of the Hudson Valley region of the Alzheimers Association.Dr. Higgins obtained his Medical Degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and did his residency and fellowship training at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Charles Scott, MD, is a sports medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley and an assistant professor of rehabilitation and regenerative medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Scott specializes in the management of musculoskeletal injuries in pediatric and adult dancers and athletes. He has a collaborative, individualized care approach, guided by his patients personal goals for recovery. Dr. Scott employs a variety of ultrasound-guided interventions, including regenerative treatments such as shockwave therapy, prolotherapy, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections, and uses diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound as an extension of the physical examination. Dr. Scott developed an interest in musculoskeletal medicine while working professionally as a dancer with the companies of Jose Limon and Bill T. Jones. He graduated from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and served his internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai St. Lukes Hospital. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian (Columbia/Weill Cornell), where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Scott trained in primary care sports medicine as a clinical fellow at Boston Childrens Hospital/Harvard Medical School. During his fellowship, he worked with dancers and musicians at the Boston Ballet, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Boston Arts Academy, and the Walnut Hill School for the Arts. He served as team physician for Northeastern Universitys Division I womens basketball team and the Newton South High School football team. Dr. Scott is a member of the International Association for Dance Medicine and Sciences, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine, and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
