Dr. Meninabasi Ndaessien is an emergency medicine physician who currently practices at New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center and New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. In high school, Kimberly was a Junior Volunteer at Huntington Hospital for four years in her hometown, Huntington, New York. This provided her a look into working at the bedside with patients during their hospitalizations. She led the unit as a charge nurse, trained nurses to her position, and helped the unit move to the Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns in 2020.In May 2023, Kimberly graduated from New York University with a Master of Science, and in July 2023, she became a board-certified family nurse practitioner under the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In 2024, Kimberly became Adjunct Faculty at the CUNY Hunter College School of Nursing, teaching the obstetrical rotation for undergraduate and accelerated nursing students in the process of earning their nursing degrees. Her passion is caring for women across the lifespan, with an emphasis on building strong patient relationships through education and collaboration to achieve optimal health.
