She additionally is always willing to spend those extra minutes guiding patients through the complex decision-making that higher-level liver care requires. Dr. Faruqui has an interest in healthcare disparities, increasing access to liver transplants for the underprivileged, and providing equal, world-class care to all patients. Dr. Faruqui remains prolific in the liver community and has authored several peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, and book chapters. She continues these endeavors today. On a personal level, Dr. Faruqui is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
