Suzanne Suchan, founder, was controlled and abused by her husband over a 22 year span. At the beckoning of their then 16-year old daughter to 'do something,' she agreed to have 911 called during the next attack. Unlike the 3 times she left previously, this time she promised her kids she wouldn't return. And the long road of healing began.
