Lowville Elementary School provides a range of educational and extracurricular programs. The school offers a variety of subjects, such as mathematics, science, social studies, and English and language arts. It provides services to students in grades three through eight. Glenfield Elementary School is a coeducational institution that has a staff of nearly 20 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes classroom teachers, reading specialists, school nurses, art and music professionals, and physical and health education instructors. It operates a library that provides a large collection of reference books, archives, biographies, encyclopedias, newspapers and magazines. Glenfield Elementary School also maintains a counseling department that works with the faculty, students and parents to facilitate academic success and personal development of the students. The school is a part of South Lewis Central School, which has a total enrollment of over 1,100 students in five schools. Located in Glenfield, N.Y., Glenfield Elementary School teaches more than 175 students in kindergarten through grade five.
