I am a pulmonologist with a special interest in treating lung conditions arising from cancer or its treatment. As one of the few pulmonologists with formal training in interventional pulmonology, I am able to utilize a full spectrum of advanced minimally invasive techniques in making the diagnosis of enlarged lymph nodes in the chest or small lung nodules, as well as to provide therapy for complications from cancer such as central airway obstruction or pleural effusion (fluid accumulation around the lung).

Interventional pulmonology is a relatively new and rapidly growing field. As one of a few fully trained interventional pulmonologists in the world, I feel fortunate to have been part of the development of this field and have published articles on techniques never before performed. I am board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine.

I am a pulmonologist who can diagnose and manage a broad range of pulmonary diseases. My goal is to deliver compassionate care and manage complex medical conditions especially in patients with pulmonary complications related to cancer and cancer therapy. I see patients at the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and at Memorial Hospital.
