Nothing else in New York quite matches the atmosphere of La Caverna. Cavern isn’t just part of the name – it is the décor as well! You’ll get the instant impression that you are deep in a cave far below the earth’s crust, but with none of the dankness you might find in a real cave. The menu is relatively short but sufficient for a bar atmosphere. If you’re putting together a party and looking for somewhere unique, La Caverna should be at the top of your list. La Caverna is a subterranean restaurant on the Lower East Side. Stairs are required to access the restaurant and it is not ADA accessible. The decor is cool and the main draw of coming here....
