As a surgeon, she performs oncoplastic breast conserving surgery, nipple sparing mastectomies, and hidden scar surgery for benign and malignant breast disease. She has published in reputable journals and been recognized for her clinical research in breast cancer and health disparities. Dr. Reyes serves as the Director of Breast Services Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Northwell Cancer Institute in New Hyde Park, NY and is an active member of the Health Equity Advisory Group for the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
