Joshua D. Stewart, M.D.

Dr. Dan Goldschlag is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine at The Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine (CRM) at Weill Cornell Medical College. A noted fertility specialist, he is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Goldschlag completed his B.A. and M.S. in 1988 and his M.D. in 1992 at Wayne State University in Detroit. After a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Goldschlag received his subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at CRM. In 1999, he joined the Center's faculty. Dr. Goldschlag is a member of numerous medical associations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr.Goldschlag has a thriving practice in reproductive medicine that includes patients growing their families using in vitro fertilization (IVF), preimplantation genetic diagnosis and egg donation, as well as other advanced assisted reproductive techniques. Minimally Invasive Surgery & Disorders of Delayed Sexual Development Dr. Goldschlag is an expert in advanced surgical methods and is particularly skilled in the use of minimally invasive surgical techniques. These techniques can be of great help to patients with conditions including uterine anomalies, recurrent miscarriages, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, menstrual disorders and anatomical causes of infertility, including blocked fallopian tubes, adhesions or scar tissue, endometrial polyps and fibroid tumors. Dr. Mohamad Irani is as an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine at The Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine of Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Irani completed his fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He is double board-certified in both OB/GYN and reproductive endocrinology/infertility. Dr. Irani is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.Dr. Irani received numerous awards for his clinical expertise, surgical skills, and medical research. He received the American Society for Reproductive Medicine Star Award in 2022, 2023 and 2025. He also received the New York Obstetrical Society Resident and Fellow Research Night Awards for outstanding research papers, the Gynecological Society of Brooklyn and Staten Island’s first prize for research, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists award for surgical excellence. He received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry Summa Cum Laude from the University of Kansas, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society, as well as the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He went on to complete a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center followed by sub-specialty fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine of Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr. Stewart is a board-certified Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.Dr. Stewart has received numerous awards for his clinical excellence, medical research, and teaching, including the Excellence in Teaching Award and the Outstanding House Staff Award as a chief resident at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Stewart has authored and co-authored many articles and textbook chapters in the field of reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He has presented his research at numerous national and international meetings on topics such as fertility preservation, pre-implantation genetic testing, male factor infertility, frozen embryo transfers, and laparoscopic surgery outcomes. In 2019, he received a prize scientific paper award at the Annual Meeting of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society for his research on mechanisms impacting male factor infertility.
