Dr. Kim is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the Division of Gynecologic Surgical Services. Dr. Kim graduated from Yale University and earned her medical degree from New York University. Following her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University, she completed an AAGL-accredited fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Chronic Pelvic Pain at the University of Michigan, also earning her Masters in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis. The fellowship provided Dr. Kim with specialized training and expertise in the field of advanced laparoscopy and robotics. Dr. Kim favors a minimally invasive approach to the care of her patients, understanding that this approach leads to faster recovery, less pain, shorter length of hospital stay, improved cosmesis, and greater patient satisfaction. In addition to providing routine gynecologic care, Dr. Kim specializes in gynecologic endoscopy, including robotic surgery, advanced laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and in the treatment of women with chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding and vulvar pain. Dr. Kim regularly presents at national and international conferences, and led the establishment of a laparoscopic training program in Ghana.

Dr. Brooks was the Site Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Allergy and Immunology Fellowship. His areas of clinical and research interests include food allergies, drug allergies, angioedema, and immunizations. He has presented his work at national and international meetings as well as published in scientific journals. Dr. Brooks is also very engaged in medical education and serves on multiple committees for the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
