Jean Turmo

Jean Turmo Ltd is located in Woodstock, New York. Yes, the concert was named after our town. While Dylan, Joplin, and Hendrix were playing music, I was in my kitchen playing with lotions and potions. In 1976, with my daughter Becky, we opened our store. We went into the scent business, gathering exotic perfumes from all over the world: Rain from America, Lily of the Valley and Lavender from France, Patchouli from the East Indies, and Amber from Tunisia. We developed a line of bath products scented with our oils, in addition to a high-quality line of unscented skin care and cosmetics. About 15 years ago, my husband Herb joined us. He has brought us into modern times without any loss to the quality of our products. Herb makes our line of incense and makes the formulas for our custom-made make-up bases. Our family is now three generations strong -- Jean and Herb, Becky, and the grandkids Rose and Ayden all work and play together.
