Jaymee Franknecht, AUD

Amanda Cassidy, DNP, APRN, WHNP-BC, CLC joined the team at Columbia University in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine in 2022. Amanda is a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner who is trained in providing holistic, client-centered care for women from puberty through the adult lifespan. Her clinical interests include high risk pregnancy, maternal medical conditions, prenatal education, family planning and contraception counseling, the postpartum period, and access to postpartum sterilization. A core tenet of Amanda's comprehensive care is empowering patients to be active and informed members of their own healthcare team via excellent patient education and shared decision making. She is also a Certified Lactation Counseling and helps host weekly postpartum drop-in support groups for the Department of Ob/Gyn. Amanda completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Duke University in 2023 and is dedicated to evidence-based practice, nursing leadership, and the translation of research to clinical practice to improve health outcomes and care accessibility. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University in 2021, and with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University at Vermont in 2017. Prior to her work as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, she was a Registered Nurse on labor and delivery and high-risk obstetrics units at academic medical centers, as well as a Registered Nurse in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Amanda is a member of the National Association for Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health and the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine.

Dr. Baptiste is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician and Medical Geneticist within the Department of Ob/Gyn. She cares for families with genetic disease throughout their reproductive years. Her clinical and research interests include preconception counseling for genetic disorders, care for people with genetic disorders during pregnancy and pregnancies with a genetic diagnosis. Dr. Baptiste performs prenatal diagnostic procedures including chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis. Dr. Baptiste graduated from medical school at Emory University School of Medicine. She completed residency in Ob/Gyn and subspecialty fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine and Medical Genetics and Genomics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Baptiste has presented at national conferences and published several peer-reviewed research manuscripts and book chapters related to reproductive genetics, clinical obstetrics, and fetal diagnosis. Dr. Baptiste is a fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics and a member of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.

Jennifer Jones, AuD currently serves as Assistant Professor of Audiology at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Jones received her Masters of Science Degree from Hunter College and her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from the Osborne College of Audiology at Salus University. Prior to joining Columbia University Medical Center, Dr. Jones served as Senior Audiologist at The New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai for 12 years. Dr. Jones focused on providing hearing and balance services to both adult and pediatric patient populations. Dr. Jones’s clinical interests lie in audiological diagnostic testing, vestibular diagnostic testing, and adult amplification. Dr. Jones holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
