Medaille University, formerly known as Medaille College, was a private, nonsectarian institution located in Buffalo, NY. Established in 1937 as Mount Saint Joseph Teachers' College, it provided personalized, practitioner-based learning experiences to a diverse student body of undergraduate, graduate, and online students. Unfortunately, due to declining enrollment, outstanding liabilities, and other challenges affecting colleges and universities across the region, state, and nation, Medaille permanently closed in 2023.

With a rich history dating back to 1875, Medaille University initially served as an institute for the preparation of teachers founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph.
