Hudson Valley Community College

Hudson Valley Community College is one of the leading colleges in the United States. Operational for more than 40 years, Hudson Valley is a part of the State University of New York. The college enrolls more than 12,000 students annually, employs over 600 full- and part-time faculty members. Located in Troy, N.Y., it offers more than 60 degree and certificate programs through its business, engineering and industrial technologies, health sciences, and liberal arts and sciences schools. Hudson Valley is approved by the Commission on Higher Education, and is a member of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. The college has academic and athletic facilities, including Bulmer telecommunications center, video and teleconferencing rooms, long-distance learning classes, and McDonough sports complex. Additionally, it provides various student support services, such as the collegiate academic support program, peer tutoring programs, educational opportunity and minority orientation program, disability resource center, smart start solutions, and Viking day care center.
