During his extensive travels through Central America, Spencer Throckmorton began his collection of exquisite photographs and historical artifacts, and the dream for the acclaimed Throckmorton Fine Art Gallery was born. Since its opening in 1980, Throckmorton has represented the foremost Latin American artists, Pre-Columbian artworks, and Chinese jade antiques. We have devoted years to building strong relationships with artists and acquiring and caring for rare historical pieces. Our mission is to share with and educate our visitors on the vivid culture and history of our art.
