Came here many times since it's a local spot in my neighborhood. My favorite things on the menu are the goulash, chicken matzah ball soup and the apple kugel. They also have deli sandwiches here ....

Stepping into Gottlieb's was such a cool, transporting experience. I (and other clearly non-Jewish) patrons were in flagrant violation of the dress code not allowing shorts, but no one called us...

Very old, and unorganized.OK for orthodox Jewish people ambiance is zero. Service was good.

The prices were high for the size of the sandwich. I ordered a hot pastrami on rya and it arrived on white bread. The food was bland. Disappointed. The potato knish was really good
