Prachi Bakarania, Director of Physical Therapy of Spinal Deformity at Columbia Orthopedics, specializes in the non-operative and pre-op/post-op management of scoliosis, kyphosis, and spinal disorders for individuals throughout their lifespan, specializing in the Schroth and SEAS methods. She has been a part of the non-operative multidisciplinary team at Columbia Doctors since 2014.During her tenure at Columbia, Prachi has co-authored numerous publications surrounding the management of patients with scoliosis, kyphosis and other structural spinal disorders. She helped pioneer the pre-op and post-op program for both pediatric and adult patients who are about to undergo complex spinal surgery and organizes and moderates quarterly webinars and an annual CME. She works alongside a larger multidisciplinary team consisting of ortho/neurosurgeons, orthotists, pain psychologists, and pain management physicians.
