This historic site on Wall St was the first capital of the U.S., where in 1789 George Washington was inaugurated as the first President. On the site today, the Greek-Revival U.S. Customs & former Sub-Treasury is a National Memorial to democracy & commerce. Come in for tours, visitor info & exhibits!

Federal Hall was the first capitol building of the United States. I'm not the best at US history, and I completely forgot DC wasn't always the capital - so visiting Federal Hall last weekend...

A lot of History in one spot, George Washington was sworn in as first president. It's right next to Wall Street and Trinity Church. Rage against the machine filmed a great video there on that spot
