Dr. Esther S. Han, MD, MPH is a board-certified OBGYN and fellowship trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon at New York Presbyterian – Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Han completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University and earned a master’s degree in public health at The George Washington University before earning her medical degree from Boston University. Following her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, she completed an AAGL-accredited fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at New York Presbyterian – Columbia University Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Han is active in the AAGL where she serves on the FMIGS Global Health Committee. She is also a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is passionate about improving access to minimally invasive gynecologic surgery both at home and abroad. She provides training in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy in Guatemala and Tanzania and partners with national and international organizations focusing on sustainable capacity building in low resource settings. She participates actively in the training of fellows and residents as a faculty member and educator. Dr. Han provides advanced medical and surgical care for women with complex gynecologic conditions, including fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, and abnormal uterine bleeding. She specializes in minimally invasive surgical approaches including laparoscopic, robotic, and hysteroscopic techniques and is one of the few surgeons trained to perform minimally invasive transabdominal cerclage.

Dr. Duffy is a clinical non-invasive cardiologist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in adults, including hypertension, high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart rhythm disorders, and cardiomyopathies. He attends on the inpatient cardiology service, leading teams of residents and medical students. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. In addition to general cardiology, Dr. Duffy is an expert in sports cardiology and is passionate about caring for athletes who have cardiac disease or seek cardiac assessment prior to exercise or competition. He is an active long-distance runner and enjoys caring for fellow runners and endurance athletes as they balance their health with their next PR. He has expertise in exercise testing, VO2 max testing, lactate threshold testing, and prescribing exercise safely for patients with cardiac disease or risk factors. He is actively involved in multiple research efforts to study athletic and cardiac performance. Dr. Duffy founded the Columbia Runners Heart Clinic, a clinic dedicated to the cardiac care of runners and other endurance athletes. Dr. Eisig is Chief of the Hospital Dental Service at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, the George Guttmann Professor of Clinical Craniofacial Surgery and Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the hospital, and Chair of Hospital Dentistry at Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine. He received his dental degree from New York University and then completed his general dental internship and residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, and New York Hospital - Cornell Medical Center, respectively. Dr. Eisig received additional training as the maxillofacial surgery fellow at Shock Trauma at the University of Maryland Hospital. Dr. Eisig is the Section Editor for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the Cleft Palate/Craniofacial Journal and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He volunteers abroad by treating patients with cleft lip and palate on Healing the Children missions to South American countries. He practices full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a particular interest in orthognathic surgery (corrective jaw surgery), craniofacial and cleft palate surgery, maxillofacial pathology and reconstruction and implant surgery, and pediatric oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Eisig's principal research interests are in stem cell cranofacial regeneration and he has numerous publications in peer reviewed journals and book chapters.
