Esther Kim, MD

Dr. Deep Patel is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC), where he sees patients at the ColumbiaDoctors Third Avenue office, ColumbiaDoctors Midtown, and the CUMC main campus. Dr. Patel graduated summa cum laude from Wilkes University, where he also played on the baseball team. He then earned both his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and received several awards, including the Business Leadership Immersion Scholar, Medical Student Research Award, and the Alphonse E. Leure-Dupree Exemplary Medical Student Award. He completed his internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and his dermatology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Patel is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and up-to-date care to all his patients. With a strong background in health systems and business administration, he brings a unique lens to quality improvement and systems-based care, leading initiatives that measurably enhance healthcare delivery. Outside of medicine, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his family, running and biking, and watching the Yankees (and the Knicks and Giants when they're good).

Dr. Kimberly Morel is an Associate Professor of Dermatology and Pediatrics at Columbia University Medical Center. She joined the staff of NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital in 2003. Dr. Morel received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn, New York. She completed her residency training in both Pediatrics and Dermatology at the New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University and was a fellow in Pediatric and Adolescent Dermatology at the Children's Hospital, San Diego, University of California, San Diego. She is board certified in Pediatrics, Dermatology as well as Pediatric Dermatology. Dr. Morel directs the Pediatric Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) Interdisciplinary Clinic at Columbia. The EB Clinic, which was initiated by Dr. Morel in June 2007, provides comprehensive outpatient consultation, consisting of various sub-specialists, such as dermatologists, occupational and physical tharapists, nutritionists, and social workers, who have expertise in treating the multiple aspects of EB. She is a also a member of the Vascular Anomalies Clinic (VAC) and the Pediatric Cutaneous Oncology Clinic (PCOC). Dr. Morel performs pulsed dye laser therapy for vascular birthmarks. She is the author of several articles and book chapters regarding skin conditions in pediatric patients. Dr. Morel is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a member of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, Hemangioma Investigator Group, the Epidermolysis Bullosa Clinical Research Concortium, and is on the executive committee of the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA).

Dr. Lindsey Bordone is a board-certified dermatologist in the Department of Dermatology of Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) who sees patients at ColumbiaDoctors Midtown and at the CUMC main campus. Dr. Bordone has expanded the clinical activities of the department specifically in the area of adult general dermatology managing all conditions of the skin, hair, and nails including among others acne, psoriasis, eczema, and skin allergies. Dr. Bordone graduated from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences of Columbia University and then received her MD from Rutgers University, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She was a melanoma research fellow in the Department of Dermatology at CUMC before completing two years of residency in Internal Medicine and a three-year residency in Dermatology at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital. Dr. Bordone is a Member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Medical Association and the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York.
