Organized in 1981, Catskill Mountain Housing Development Corporation ( CMHDC ) was formed to purchase, build or rehabilitate structures in order to make available affordable housing to the elderly and those of low and moderate income through management, renting, leasing or sale ; and to provide consultation, assessment and information to the elderly and those of low and moderate income for the purposes of housing rehabilitation and improvement.
